Walter AubreyFUTCHERIt is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Walter Aubrey Futcher, aged 86 years, of the Old Convent Nursing Home, Colwyn Bay and formerly of Lon Dirion, Abergele on Saturday 9th August 2025, after a long, bravely borne illness.
Forever dearly missed by his loving wife Gloria, their children Mandy, Carl, Neil and Simon, son in law, daughter in law, partners, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Until his retirement, a director of MK Electric (Egatube) St Asaph. A longtime member of Abergele Golf Club where he chased that little white ball with a passion. His other passion was walking through the countryside surrounding Abergele with his beloved Boxer dogs, Josie and then Ruby.
A service to celebrate Wally's life will be held at Denbighshire Memorial Park and Crematorium, St. Asaph on Thursday 11th September 2025 at 11.00am.
Family flowers only please, donations if desired, in memory of Wally, will be gratefully accepted towards a memorial bench to be put on his favourite golf hole at Abergele Golf Club for everyone to enjoy, these may be left in the donation box provided as you leave the Crematorium.
